Heaven a Red State?

Liberals spend a great deal of time, money and energy trying to exorcise God from our political system with their attacks on prayer in school and the Pledge of Allegiance -- and now, finally, we understand why.

Listening closely to Democratic leaders, we have learned that what we thought was a natural disaster slamming into the gulf shores of our nation was, in reality, a level five manifestation of the vast right wing conspiracy, aimed at taking out the bluest city in the bluest state south of the Mason-Dixon line.

Love him or hate him, President George W. Bush's influence and ability to willfully unleash an "Act of God" known as Hurricane Katrina upon New Orleans is worthy of respect -- if not outright fear -- in our book.

We suppose it also means Heaven will probably be more like a country club than a college campus, thus we plan to dress accordingly.
