Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh Proven Phonies

MADISON -- The Citizen Legion for American Progress, a nonpartisan public policy research group dedicated only to goodness and light, has released a report which factually demonstrates that conservative talk radio is an on-going fraud being perpetrated on the American consumer.

"Our research definitively demonstrates scientifically that these personalities are perpetrating the greatest hoax known to mankind, taking advantage of the poor, unaware American citizen and stealing the hard earned money of working people," said CLAP founder and President, Orwell A. Korn. "Big Radio is as dangerous to our country as tobacco companies or terrorists flying airplanes into skyscrapers and we call on Homeland Security and the F.C.C. to rid our precious airways of this seditious public scourge."

The CLAP web site has numerous mp3 files posted of radio show excerpts from Beck, Limbaugh and countless other conservatives played backwards, revealing hidden messages. All of the audio files have been certified by a consensus of Forensic Audio Experts, Linguists and Licensed Speech Therapists.

While much of Beck's inverted monologues appear to be the same unintelligible babbling as originally broadcast, at one point he clearly repeats "Do not believe me, I am insane and a fat fatty liar" over and over again. There are also sections clearly praising Adolf Hitler, Charles Manson, Jack the Ripper and Hannibal Lector, as well as others calling for violence in the streets -- especially against women, children and minorities -- and the assassinations of Woodrow Wilson, Teddy Roosevelt and Keith Olbermann.

Limbaugh can be heard distinctly saying, "America is the Great Satan," "My advertisers are crooks," "Excellence is overrated," and "Reagan is the Walrus."

CLAP, which is a project of the Tides Foundation and funds their research with government grants, is calling for a boycott of all advertisers of all conservative talk shows on all radio and all television, until such time as the Obama Administration can act.

In addition, Korn announced the group plans to file a class action suit against Premier Radio Networks, Salem Communications, Clear Channel Communications, and Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation, the owner of Fox News, for damages stemming from extreme emotional pain and suffering, loss of companionship, loss of consortium, loss of reputation, loss or impairment of mental capacity and loss of enjoyment of life, as a direct result of listening to conservative talk radio, as soon as they can find disgruntled fans.
