WILMINGTON -- Move over Tiger Woods, Drew Bledsoe and Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Pope John Paul II is now showing his team colors with the new Vatican Visa card.
MBNA announced that they will become the official credit card issuer of the Roman Catholic Church, which joins the National Football League, the National Hockey League, Major League Baseball, PGA Tour, LPGA, and USTA. In addition, MBNA is endorsed by more than 400 motorsports groups, including NASCAR, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the National Hot Rod Association.
